Step into a world where fashion knows no bounds and creativity reigns supreme. We unveil a collection of iconic red carpet moments that pushed the boundaries of style, daring, and self-expression. Get ready to be captivated by the audacious fashion choices that have graced the MTV Video Music Awards over the years.

Madonna, 1984

There are some red carpet looks that are so iconic that they inspire fashion for decades to come. The provocative performance Madonna gave in 1984 shocked the world.

Her performance might rank among the most memorable in music history as she writhed around in an '80s-style wedding gown and wore rosaries around her neck. Several decades later, artists still pay homage to this infamous VMAs look.

Kim Kardashian, 2016

For the awards show, Kim chose this vintage John Galliano dress.

Kim paired the short, sheer black dress with wet hair straight from the pool. Despite the reality star's distaste for walking the red carpet with her estranged ex-husband Kanye West, this dress definitely made a lasting impression.

Lady Gaga, 2009

Lady Gaga is the queen of VMAs fashion. Throughout the show, the singer-turned-serious actress wore five different outfits, each one stranger than the last.

Astonished by the singer's unusual outfit, award presenter rapper Eminem couldn't hide his confusion. He had no idea that she would return with an even more outrageous costume.

Pamela Anderson, 1999

She prefers her hats to be oversized as well, as she does most things on her beautiful blonde body.

Ivy Supersonic, celebrity hat designer, created the oversized pink hat that Baywatch star wore to the 1999 VMAs. The huge pink feathered hat was paired with a skin-tight white corset, bedazzled sequin pants, and heavy eye makeup. As the wife of rocker Tommy Lee, she embodied the late-'90s style.

Emily Ratajkowski, 2023

The red carpet of the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards was dominated by Emily Ratajkowski and her bombshell style.

She wore an outfit that could easily be swapped with any VMAs red carpet outfit from the early '00s. Ratajkowski paired the dress with a small bedazzled Fendi bag, metallic gold stilettos from Piferi, and an array of gold jewelry.

Jared Leto, 2017

Although women often get the credit for trying brave and bold styles on the red carpet, some men are also fashionably adventurous!

Thirty Seconds to Mars' lead singer was all eyes as he flaunted his sequined Gucci cape. Since the sequins reflected in the stage lights, VMA viewers couldn't ignore the singer in his dazzling dress.

Rose McGowan, 1998

When your outfit outshined rocker Marilyn Manson's leopard suit, you know you're outrageous.

A leopard print pair of underwear and basically nothing else made Rose McGowan the stand out. Rose launched the "less is more" trend when it comes to red carpet fashion. The "Charmed" actress described her dress as more political than fashion-forward.

Cindy Crawford, 1992

The 1992 VMAs saw Cindy Crawford bring her fashion A-game as the host of MTV's House of Style. She wore a leather and lace bustier with plenty of straps and buckles.

This strappy gown was part of Versace's risqué Miss S&M collection. It was Cindy's head-turning dress that stole the show on the red carpet.

Christina Aguilera, 2002

In what might be the world's smallest top, Christina Aguilera used a scarf.

Christina took a break from her leather pants and bikini outfits after the success of her hit "Dirty." No one knows how she managed to keep her outfits together all night!

Britney Spears, 2001

Britney Spears tried to embrace edgier fashion in the early 2000s, breaking away from her bubblegum good girl image.

Fans thought Britney went "Crazy" when she wore this sheer dress to the 2001 VMAs. Today, this lace dress wouldn't get a second glance, but back then, it caused quite a stir.

Avril Lavigne & Kelly Osbourne, 2003

Early 2000s fashion was full of hot pink and barely-there looks, but it was also emo and punk-rock.

Thanks to stores like Hot Topic, this look became one of the most popular alternative styles thanks to its stripes, skulls, and safety pins. We're sure that at least one student in your high school class wore a similar look.

Lil Kim, 1999

Fashion memories are made when rapper Lil' Kim wears a lavender jumpsuit and a seashell-shaped sequined pastie.

Alongside Diana Ross, the rapper presented the "Best Hip-Hop Video" award. As if her outfit wasn't jaw-dropping enough, Ross extended her hand and gave her co-presenter a jiggle! She used eyelash glue to keep the pastie in place, if you're wondering.

Pink, 2000

In music and in fashion, Pink has always been her own person. When it came to figuring out her red carpet style, Pink decided to try something new, or rather many new things.

She wore a sequined halter top with dangerously low pants. A gravity-defying coat and pink spiky hair completed her look.

Carmen Electra, 1997

In 1997, Carmen Electra appeared at the ceremony and made a memorable impression.

She was the presenter at the awards show that year, and her outfit was quite attention-grabbing. She wore a revealing and risqué outfit that consisted of a black leather bustier, a short leather skirt, and fishnet stockings.

Riff Raff & Katy Perry, 2014

In 2010, Katy Perry and Riff Raff introduced their version of the Canadian tuxedo to the VMAs.

Katy and Riff Raff paid homage to one of the most memorable red carpet outfits by adding a bit more bling. Katy killed that dress despite her vintage hair and makeup.

Howard Stern, 1992

Howard Stern's fans love his funny and irreverent style of entertainment as a shock jock radio show host. But they didn't know his wardrobe choices were bizarre as well.

Howard attended the 1992 MTV VMAs dressed as Fartman, his alter-ego. Just wait until you see Howard's backside in a tight gold lamé bodysuit! One of the worst outfits in VMA history bared everything.

Lizzo, 2019

Fashion is for every figure, and Lizzo proves it! Her red carpet looks are always creative, and even a bit cheeky.

A matching feather boa and bouffant hairstyle completed the look. Lizzo proves you can wear red on the red carpet without blending in.

Gwen Stefani, 1998

During the late '90s, raver fashion made its way from the underground to the red carpet.

Matching accessories to your outfit is common, but matching your hair to your bra isn't. I won't even mention her weird futuristic shiny skirt over pants. It's so nice to see this chapter in Gwen's lookbook come to an end!

TLC, 1995

There were people who paid money for clothing that appeared to have been destroyed. TLC's toilet-paper-inspired VMAs look is a perfect example of the distressed clothing trend.

In a departure from the usual oversized and baggy ensembles, Chilli, Lisa "Left Eye," and T-Boz wore these mummy-like costumes. The song "Waterfalls" won several awards, but the outfits didn't!

Amber Rose, 2018

Amber Rose has become an expert at commanding attention on the red carpet since she dated Kanye West. This bold outfit pushed the limits of appropriate red carpet wear in 2018.

In addition to a red latex bodysuit, the model and television personality wore a cat mask and whip. Amber stated she wanted to channel an "intergalactic space slut vibe" and, while I have no idea what that means, I think she succeeded.

Jennifer Lopez, 2000

Jennifer Lopez has a knack for wearing memorable outfits. A coordinated all-white outfit she wore to the MTV VMAs with her then-boyfriend Sean Combs is hard to forget.

J.Lo brought an iconic feminine touch to streetwear by wearing her ex-boyfriend's brand bedazzled on her shirt. Years later, with Sean Combs no longer on her arm, J. Lo still flaunts crop tops.

Megan Fox, 2021

One of the biggest stories from the 2021 VMAs was Megan's outfit, or lack thereof. Megan walked the red carpet with her fiancé, rapper-turned-punk-rocker Machine Gun Kelly, and the paparazzi couldn't get enough shots of her.

Megan donned a sheer dress and wet-looking hair, and paired it with bedazzled underwear and strappy heels. She's giving us 2000s Britney, ’90s Rose McGowan, and a hint of Met Gala Kim Kardashian.

Lenny Kravitz, 2004

At the 2004 VMAs, Lenny Kravitz's amazing abs couldn't save this confusing look.

Is he wearing some kind of wings across his shoulders? Despite his angelic voice, Lenny's outfit was pure fashion hell. Please Lenny, never "Again" wear this outfit.

Miley Cyrus, 2015

Despite wearing just slightly more than she did in her "wrecking ball" music video (nothing), Miley wore this futuristic outfit to the 2015 VMAs. Miley wore chandelier-inspired underwear and metallic suspenders, pushing the limits of body glue.

The outfit left very little to the imagination. She paired her futuristic look with thigh-high silver boots, shimmery hair accessories and blonde dreadlocks.

Destiny’s Child, 2001

One suede fringed dress? How's three? With matching suede and turquoise ensembles, Destiny's Child went west in 2001.

These Western-themed outfits should be tucked away deep in their closets for the sake of their neck health.

Selena Gomez, 2023

Selena lit up the 2023 MTV VMAs from head to toe.

Her Oscar de la Renta beaded halter gown had a swishy fringed hem that set her apart on the pink carpet. She slayed the 2023 MTV VMAs.

Paris Hilton, 2002

Paris Hilton defined the fashion of the early 2000s with her pastel pink outfit and tiny bag.

Despite the tiny halter top and the impossibly low-rise skirt, this outfit is actually quite tame. In typical Paris fashion, her outfit stood out.

Shakira, 2001

A halter top made of feathers paired with leather pants and lace-up boots made from leather made the Colombian singer stand out at the 2001 VMAs.

If anyone else wore this, we'd call it a fashion faux pas, but somehow she does it well! Even though we like her sleek and chic style today, we miss her cowgirl and leather style from "Whenever, Wherever."

Macy Gray, 2001

Promoting new projects before social media required artists to get creative. Why not share your work at the VMAs?

When Macy Gray ironed the words "MY NEW ALBUM DROPS SEPT. 18 2001" onto her dress, she turned her body into a walking billboard. Sadly, her PR arts and crafts project flopped, and the album didn't sell.

Hailey Baldwin, 2017

Hailey Baldwin was shimmering at the 2017 VMAs in a dazzling jumpsuit at the Forum.

Rarely does Hailey Baldwin's outfit fail to make us take a second look. We were reminded of Karlie Kloss' Victoria's Secret outfit from 2013, the same runway show Hailey auditioned for.

Nicki Minaj, 2011

Nicki Minaj has lots of options when it comes to choosing a crazy VMAs outfit. While getting dressed, Nicki looks as though she was attacked by the stuffed animal section of a toy store.

During the 2011 VMAs, Nicki wore this Harajuku-inspired outfit to win Best Hip-Hop Video for her song “Super Bass.” We're sure this won't be the last memorable fashion statement Nicki blesses us with.

Rihanna, 2007

There was a lot of hot pink at the 2007 MTV VMAs.

This strapless, floor-length gown with black piping on its scandalously low bodice was Rihanna's big win of the night.

Chloe & Halle Bailey, 2021

As they attended the 2021 VMAs, Chloe and Halle Bailey displayed their sweet sisterly bond.

Hand in hand, the pair walked the red carpet looking stunning. Chloe wore a silver gown, while Halle grabbed attention in a white cutout gown with a spoon necklace?

Beyoncé, 2016

Members of the "BeyHive" almost lost their minds when Beyoncé and Blue Ivy appeared on the red carpet wearing coordinated sparkly outfits!

In a shimmering tulle dress, Blue Ivy demonstrated her fashionista potential. With her feathered, winged dress and intricate beading, Beyonce looked angelic. From feathered wings to elegant evening gowns, Queen Bey proves she can wear anything.

Lil Nas X, 2021

Some artists also push fashion to its limits, not only with their music. It's always a guarantee that Lil Nas X will bring unforgettable exposure to the VMAs, and he was no exception in 2021.

It was Atelier Versace's bedazzled lavender suit with matching shimmering train that gave the rapper a dangerously low-cut, bedazzled look. His crystal-encrusted creation earned him the title of best dressed on the red carpet.

Taylor Swift, 2014

Compared to the body-baring outfits most celebrities wear, a short romper isn't the most scandalous VMAs outfit. It was still quite an unexpected outfit for T-Swift.

For the 2014 ceremony, Taylor switched things up from her usual safe and classic look, and fans absolutely loved it. Taylor's edgy style has made her one to watch on the red carpet since this appearance.

Rita Ora, 2018

Rita Ora kept up with the sheer-dress trend with a stunning Giuseppe Zanotti dress.

She joked that the weather made her choose the revealing dress, but it's still a masterpiece. The gown's sheer fabric was intricately embroidered with squiggly lines that prevented the singer from having a wardrobe malfunction.

Flavor Flav, 1990

Flav dressed in his finest pajamas and slippers for the event. He also wore a hot pink Batman mask and an oversized clock around his neck, which made him even more bizarre.

Maybe he was planning on napping during the show? It's admirable that he dresses comfortably, even if he looks silly.

Avril Lavigne, 2021

The news that Avril Lavigne would attend the 2021 VMAs came as a surprise, as she hasn't been seen on MTV for years.

Wearing hot pink plaid with a sparkly bra? We must appreciate her heart-shaped jacket, despite the painful plaid outfit that gives us nightmares. As always, she wears over-the-top smokey eyeliner.

Eve, 2000

Eve found a fur shawl that matched her hair color perfectly. The metallic gold dress that stood out from the rest of her red-accented outfit could not be missed.

Dresses with asymmetrical lines and thick jeweled chokers are surprisingly back in style today. When she walked the red carpet, no one asked, "Who's That Girl?" with her trademark short red hair and undeniable confidence.

Heidi Klum, 2017

Heidi Klum drops jaws in scandalous nude gown at 2017 MTV VMAs.

The "America's Got Talent" judge was hot, hot, hot on the red carpet at the 2017 MTV VMAs! In a see-through, nude gown, the German model showed off both her undergarments and her eye-popping cleavage.

Dennis Rodman, 1995

The eccentric lifestyle and even stranger fashion sense of Dennis Rodman during the 1990s kept the tabloids occupied.

Despite the cute top, we're more interested in what's below. What is the purpose of the seersucker top on his jeans? Either way, we're glad Dennis had the opportunity to express his unique identity.

Fergie, 1998

A lot of people don't know it, but Fergie used to be known by her real name, Stacy Ferguson, in a girl's group called Wild Orchid before she started her "Glamorous" life.

We haven't seen Fergie in a late-'90s outfit like this in a while. The metallic tank top and pants are awful, but what about the cowboy hat and flip-flops?

Paula Abdul, 1987

Paula Abdul, a half-naked little mermaid, appeared at the 1987 awards show.

Ariel's less-stylish cousin wore a turquoise sequined skirt suit and matching bra. We should cut her some slack, given that it was the late 1980s, but we can't.

Jonathan Van Ness, 2019

VMAs are all about having fun with fashion and expressing yourself, and no one understood this more than television personality Jonathan Van Ness.

In an outfit that would make any Disney villain jealous, the Queer Eye co-host paired a black romper with a cape from the Atelier by Frang collection. Jonathan shows us that our favorite red carpet outfits sometimes come out of nowhere.

Ashanti, 2003

There needs to be an explanation for why we wore clothes in the early 2000s that appeared to be destroyed.

Ashanti's "dress" exemplifies the "shipwrecked" trend by displaying slivers of fabric hanging on for dear life. Only a few shimmering ropes kept the pink fabric together against strong winds.

Cher, 2010

From her iconic "If I Could Turn Back Time" music video, Cher wore her famous sheer bodysuit.

Cher caused quite a stir with her Bob Mackie-designed jeweled bodystocking, but she was easily outdone by Lady Gaga wearing a meat dress! A different style stole the spotlight, but she didn't seem to mind.

PJ Harvey, 1995

With bright light blue eyeshadow, clownish red lipstick, and over-the-top false eyelashes, PJ's outfit easily stands out.

She actually justified her garish makeup look by saying that she found it "extremely beautiful." We respectfully disagree.

Amber Rose, 2014

The dress Amber wore on the red carpet in 2014 was reminiscent of Rose McGowan's infamous sheer chainmail outfit.

Even though the dress was quite revealing, it covered more than Rose's. This is merely one of Amber Rose's many shocking outfits.

Hilary Duff, 2005

As a child star on Disney's "Lizzie McGuire," Hilary Duff's style gradually evolved from girly to glam. The 2004 VMAs were the best example of her fashion evolution.

She channeled her inner uber-chic, high-fashion flapper in her sequins and fringe dress. This was the first time Duff and Joel Madden appeared on stage together as a couple and presented an award.

Bella Poarch, 2021

It was a gothic meets glam ensemble that she wore in 2021. It was a sheer black jumpsuit with ruffled flared pants and a matching shimmering cape that the TikTok star wore to the show.

Although the awards ceremony happened in September, this outfit evokes Halloween vibes, especially when you zoom into her amazing black and white snake nail art.

Normani, 2021

Normani says pants were optional at the 2021 VMAs. A cropped long-sleeve jacket was all she wore to the awards show, no pants.

Those cuffs are huge. What about cufflinks for those? Below her stomach, she wore just a couple of pieces of fabric, which were cartoonishly oversized.

Amy Lee, 2003

Evanescence's lead vocalist Amy Lee brought a darker sound to the music industry. While Amy's pipes are incredible, her sense of style often disappointed.

The strange mismatched outfit she wore to the 2003 MTV VMAs left us all scratching our heads. Amy's gothic leather corset paired with a frilly skirt and curls we all tried to make with a curling iron left fashion critics cold.

MC Hammer, 1990

MC Hammer popularized harem pants during the 1980s and early '90s, one of the decade's worst fashion trends.

He wore metallic harem pants with a jacket missing significant chunks of fabric at the 1990 VMAs. Although the rapper appeared to think "It's All Good," fashion critics felt differently.

Chyna, 2000

Chyna, aka Joanie Laurer, has worn some ridiculous costumes as a former professional wrestler. Her choice of clothing would have been more akin to couture outside of the ring, but that's not the case.

Her red, white, and blue leather jumpsuit looked like something she might have worn during a wrestling match. Even though fashion critics weren't fond of her patriotic pleather costume, it became a signature look for her.

Lil Mama, 2007

In this infantile outfit she wore to the 2007 VMAs, Lil Mama of "Lip Gloss" fame reconnected with her inner baby.

She wore a puffy lilac satin dress with a matching baby bonnet for no apparent reason. It gets stranger, she was photographed holding a Swarovski crystal-encrusted pacifier, which she actually had in her mouth.

H.E.R, 2019

Aside from the cool shades, this looks like a typical VMA outfit. A closer look reveals that she's actually wearing a snake around her neck.

Brittney Spears created an iconic snake moment at the 2001 VMAs with her performance of "Slave 4 U." It is possible that the musician wanted to evoke that moment.

Kim Petras, 2021

German singer Kim Petras is known for her controversial lyrics and even more risque clothing choices.

She wore a dress with ornate embroidery adorned with crosses and religious symbols at the 2021 VMAs. A black latex bodysuit and mask complemented Kim's show-stopping dress.

Fergie, 2006

Her music career outside of being part of the Black Eyed Peas started in the early 2000s. She definitely didn't dress like a serious solo artist in this schoolgirl outfit.

She looks like a mix between an old-fashioned businessman and a go-go dancer. The “Fergalicious” video shows Fergie in a provocative scout uniform, one of several versions of this look she adopted during that time.

LMFAO, 2011

Red carpet fashion during the 2011 VMAs was bold, colorful, and reminiscent of the pop stars of the early 2000s.

As if that weren't bad enough, the singer donned boxers with hand-prints. It was only LMFAO's terrible fashions that needed to stop.

Steven Tyler, 1987

Tyler may have been the hottest rock star during the late '80s, but that doesn't excuse this red dress.

There was very little to the imagination when it came to Steven's patterned pants, as they were practically painted on. How he walked in them is beyond us. This style of pants should never be reintroduced.

Jessie J, 2011

A shattered ankle wouldn't keep Jessie J from attending the 2011 MTV VMAs. In a bedazzled walking boot and crystal-covered crutches, Jessie proved she wouldn't let a devastating foot injury stop her.

While she smiled for the cameras, behind the scenes the singer was in need of a bone transplant due to a severe foot injury.

Busta Rhymes, 1999

It was all about metallic tones, latex, and strange cutouts. In music videos and on the red carpet, these outfits were often worn by artists.

We're not surprised that rapper Busta Rhymes wore this yellow halter-top and pants set to display his fashion of the future. His outfit choice may have seemed cutting-edge to him, but it looks uncomfortable to us.

Ashanti, 2021

Ashanti proved she still can turn heads on the red carpet. Although fans were thrilled to see their favorite R&B singer back on the scene, some found her dress strange.

It must have taken her a long time to get dressed with all those straps and buckles. What a challenge it must have been to take a bathroom break.

MGK, 2020

He's not only transformed his career, but his fashion game as well.

With his affinity for traditionally feminine colors and accessories, MGK is a trailblazer in his own right. Featuring a turtle neck and pearl necklace, his 2020 VMA look showcased his fashion fearlessness.

Mel B, 2017

Mel B, aka Scary Spice, was one of the very important spices of 90's girl group "The Spice Girls."

You can convey a loud and clear message by letting your clothes speak for you. She wore a glittery rainbow dress with the words "You Will Never Own Me.". Certainly, no one owns someone who wears such a statement piece on the red carpet.

RuPaul, 1993

Although this multi-talented superstar wears many hats, he always looks stunning.

It's unfortunate that most people remember more of Milton Berle's infamous altercation rather than the dress. Backstage, Berle is alleged to have mistreated RuPaul before they appeared together on camera.

Lil Nas X, 2022

It was a red carpet filled with drama at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards thanks to Lil Nas X.

De Beers diamonds completed the look. Once again, the rapper did not disappoint with his boundary-breaking style. He looks like he stepped straight off the set of "Black Panther."

Christina Applegate, 1989

As the story goes, Applegate ditched Brad Pitt at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards for another guy.

"I don't have to do nothing," the Vacation star responded when asked if the guy was well known. "I don't have to do nothin'."

Monet x Change, 2022

Monét X Change graced the red carpet with an afro puff and a floral top after placing second on Drag Race All Stars 7.

Not sure what look she was aiming for here, but it gives us sexy Minnie vibes. How much hair spray was used to keep her hair like that?

Miley Cyrus, 2013

In 2008, Miley Cyrus made her debut as a young Hannah Montana. He had a particularly raunchy coming-of-age experience in 2013.

She stunned the world with her twerking skills when she performed "Blurred Lines" with Robin Thicke. During her quest to break free of her Disney star image, she wore this cheeky, not-so-innocent outfit. In 2013, Cyrus hosted the MTV Awards, wearing one of the most risqué outfits ever seen.

Mariah Carey, 1997

In 1997, Mariah Carey found herself at a crossroads. Following the announcement of her separation from husband Tommy Mottola, CEO of her then-label Sony, would she repeat the winning formula behind five multiplatinum albums or break the girl-next-door image?

She opted for the latter, embracing a new R&B- and hip-hop-inspired sound and reinventing her image. In place of ballgowns and maxi dresses, she began wearing miniskirts, midriff-baring tops, and beige bikinis.

Doja Cat, 2023

Doja Cat's 2023 VMAs dress looks like it's entirely made of cobwebs.

The singer wore a white sheer, spider web-style dress by Monse on the red carpet. Fall's Halloween aesthetic has begun.

Brooke Hogan, 2004

Does her bikini top have pockets? Does she have crumpled tissues attached to her pants?

How did Hulk Hogan's daughter/aspiring songstress come up with the idea to wear this? Prior to choosing this terrible look, Hogan failed to ask these questions.

Blac Chyna, 2021

In 2018, Blac Chyna gave viewers an eyeful in this pink chainmail Laurel DeWitt bra and skirt combo, complete with peekaboo thong.

A pink chain dress was teamed with a pink clutch, bejeweled heels, and fierce jewelry to show off her tattoos.

Drew Barrymore, 1995

During the 12th Annual MTV Video Music Awards in September 1995, Barrymore channeled Elvira in a black cocktail dress.

Fitted, strapless black cocktail dress with flared hem and sweetheart neckline. To add a playful touch to her hair, she added oversized daisies to the dress. Dark-red lipstick completed Barrymore's vampy look.

Lil Kim, 2000

Lil' Kim followed up her look with another stunner the following year.

With her cone bra and floor-length cape, she looked like a comic-book queen.

Madelyn Cline, 2023

Prior to presenting at the awards show, the 25-year-old Outer Banks actress hit the pink carpet.

Madelyn Cline routinely slays red carpets, and she kept that trend alive here. She is giving off classic Hollywood vibes. Who else is excited to see her in next season's Outer Banks?

Selena Gomez, 2013

On one side of the skintight Versace gown, a risqué corset top peeled away to reveal the brunette beauty.

Justin Bieber's on-again, off-again gal won Best Pop Video for her song "Come and Get It."

Gigi and Bella Hadid, 2019

Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid took sister dressing to a whole new level.

Gigi Hadid was rumored to be bringing her current fling, Tyler Cameron, to this years MTV VMAs. But on the carpet, she walked with her sister. This is the first major award show the girls attended together since that year's CFDAs.

Courtney Love & Kurt Cobain, 1993

Only a couple of weeks away from recording Live Through This in Georgia, Courtney wore a vintage dress and Anne Klein shoes.

"Back then, everything was vintage, including my dress. I would get free stuff, but it would freak me out. It was Frances' first red carpet, and even she wore vintage. They were Russian princess baby clothes.”
